Developers are preparing plans to build up to 50 new homes in a picturesque Cotswold village.
Eagle One is looking to develop a plot of around 6.6 acres in Willersey near Broadway.
They created a website for public consultation and feedback ahead of submitting formal plans to Cotswold District Council.
The site is currently an agricultural field in the Cotswold national landscape in the village which is near the border of Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.
And there is worry among villagers over the potential planning application amid concerns over the lack of village services.
Roger Webb, a resident who lives nearby, said: “Willersey has no shops, very poor transport links, serious flooding issues in and around Collin Lane and the sewage system is acknowledged by Severn Trent as inadequate.
“Add to this the top end of the field in question, where the site entrance is, is regularly under water in the winter months.
“Getting insurance could be difficult.”
Conservative Councillor Tom Stowe (Campden-Vale), who represents the area at the District Council, said the authority is still awaiting a planning application.
“We are aware that something is likely to be coming forward,” he said.
“When that does come in the council will have to judge it on its own merits, weighing up the harms against the benefits of the development.”
Information postcards have been sent to residents and businesses close to the site inviting them to have their say on the plans, according to the developers.
And they said they would analyse the feedback, make any appropriate changes to the planning application ahead of submission.
They said they would aim to submit proposals to the council in the summer.
Residents will be able to have their say on any plans if they are submitted to the authority.
