An elderly man was airlifted to hospital yesterday following a serious road traffic collision on the Spine Road West at Somerford Keynes.
Two fire appliances from Cirencester Community Fire Station attended the incident with a total crew of 11.
The injured gentleman was extricated from his vehicle by fire crews before being airlifted to hospital by air ambulance.
The road was closed for several hours.
