The National Lottery is hunting for a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winner who has won £1, prostate 000,000, plus a New York trip.

Every week Millionaire Maker guarantees to create two millionaires – one on Tuesday and one on Friday – but with the EuroMillions Mega Friday draw on 31 July 2015, 10 players won a guaranteed £1m prize plus a luxury New York trip.

One of the lucky winners from the draw, who bought their ticket in Cheltenham, has still to check their ticket and claim their prize. The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket and players in Cheltenham are being urged to check and double-check their unique Millionaire Maker code for the chance to become an instant millionaire.

For every EuroMillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker code printed on their ticket. The winning selection on Friday 31 July 2015 was CFK351306 and the lucky ticket-holder has until Wednesday 27 January 2016 to claim their prize(1).

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK. The National Lottery changes the lives of individuals as well as communities – players raise, on average, over £34 million for National Lottery-funded projects every week.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. Thanks to EuroMillions Mega Friday, £1m plus a luxury New York trip would certainly be an amazing introduction to the millionaire lifestyle.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding, so that this prize can turn someone into the newest member of the lottery millionaire club.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

To help jog EuroMillions players’ memories about what was happening around the time of the draw in question local football club, Cheltenham Town, played their last pre-season friendly (Saturday 1 August) before the start of the league season. The Robbins went down 3-1 away on to League Two opponents AFC Wimbledon. Sports fans will also remember that the EuroMillions draw took place while the pivotal third Ashes Test at Edgbaston was in full swing.

The amazing Mega Friday draws take place on the last Friday of each month. They create multiple £1 million winners who will also receive life-changing prizes as they start their millionaire life. Every Mega Friday winner has the choice of either taking the once-in-a-life-time prize, or a cash alternative.
