
A footballer who plays for a Gloucestershire football team is recovering following a serious collision last month.
Lucas Vaughan was travelling in a vehicle which was involved in a crash in Coedely in Tonyrefail on December 11th.
The collision saw three of his friend’s fatally lose their lives.
The 19-year-old who plays for Lydney Town AFC is now out of a coma and recovering at home.
In a statement, Lydney Town AFC said: “Lucas Vaughan is making a miraculous recovery at home.”
“He fought his way out of a coma and is now progressing day by day, with a very long road ahead of him.”
“His family, and the whole football community continue to pray that Lucas makes a complete recovery and maybe one day gets to put on the black and white shirt of Lydney Town once again.”
