Take a Stand®, cycling charity Life Cycle’s scheme to provide free cycle stands for local organisations, Life Cycle has announced that Stroud will benefit from more secure cycle parking, thanks to additional funding from Stroud District Council.
Over the past year, 150 stands have been installed across the district, creating 300 new parking spaces for cyclists. Demand was so high that the scheme is now being expanded to provide 100 more secure cycle parking spaces for small businesses and community organisations – entirely free of charge.
