Annual gas safety checks on homes owned by Stroud District Council will soon be carried out by a new team of heating engineers who will be directly employed by the council.
SDC will be holding a Recruitment Open Evening at the Council Offices in Ebley on Monday 18th May between 4:00-7:00pmfor prospective candidates to “drop-in”. The new team will be known as Stroud District Council Heating Services.
Stroud District Council works very closely with its tenants. They will provide feedback and take an active part in the monitoring and success of the new service.
Prospective candidates for the jobs will be able to meet the management team for the In-House Gas Service and have an informal chat about the roles available as well as the opportunity to complete and submit application forms on the spot.
The council is looking for suitably qualified and experienced Heating Engineers as well as a Senior Scheduler and Schedulers to plan the works for the service.
