A community radio station in Gloucester is appealing for donations after its transmitter failed.
GFM is Gloucester’s longest-running community radio station and broadcasts on 96.6FM and Online.
Recently, the radio station’s FM transmitter failed, leaving the station unable to broadcast on FM.
It has since been kindly loaned a transmitter to help get back on air in the short term, but urgently requires a long-term solution.
The radio station which is completely run by volunteers has launched a fundraising appeal to raise £5,000 to purchase a new FM transmitter and installation fee.
