Gloucester City AFC has received solar panels, battery storage and insulation improvements at its New Meadow Park ground.
The upgrades are part of the Greener Game programme from England Football, supported by E.ON Next.
The club is the 50th grassroots football club in England to benefit from the scheme.
The improvements are expected to cut energy use by around 37,700 kilowatt hours and save the club about £11,300 a year.
Club vice-chair Sarah Gordon-Jones says the savings can be reinvested into football, facilities and wider community activities.
The programme aims to help grassroots clubs reduce bills, cut emissions and stay sustainable for the future.
