Dancers from Linda Virgoes Dance Studios in Quedgeley have been invited to dance on a West End Theatre stage.
Over 30 hand-picked students who attend the dance school have been handed a fantastic opportunity to perform in the ‘Bobby Dazzlers Live’ show at her Majesty‘s Theatre, case London.
The Dance studios are amongst only a handful of dance schools from across the Country invited to perform in the show on 26th April, which showcases the very best of the nation’s young talent. Children aged between 5 and 16 years will be performing three separate routines within the show, choreographed by the Gloucester dance teachers themselves.
A fundraising campaign has now been launched to help raise funds for the children to make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity possible.
Linda Virgoe who runs the Dance Studios said: “This is such a fantastic opportunity for our students, we are really pulling out all the stops to make this event possible and to help all parents meet the costs of getting their children off to the West End. We have such amazing young talent in Gloucester and this is our chance to show the rest of the Country what Gloucester can do.”
Parents, teachers and students are all busily coming up with fundraising ideas, and the studios are appealing to Gloucester residents to help them achieve their dream and take their dancers off to perform on the West End stage.
Donations are being welcomed and can be sent to the Dance studios directly – Linda Virgoe Dance Studios, Quedgeley Enterprise Centre, Naas Lane, Quedgeley, Gloucester, GL2 2ZZ.
