A darts team from Gloucester has reached the Grand Final of the Cool Hand Cup.
The team – known as the Gloucester Boys – qualified through their local pub, The Barn Owl.
Made up of players Rich, Sam, Wayne and Simon, they progressed to the quarter-finals in the national competition.
The tournament, organised by Marston’s, saw more than 11,000 players form 700 teams across the UK.
The Grand Final took place in Derbyshire, with 16 teams competing for a £10,000 prize.
The overall winners were a team from the West Midlands.
Team captain Sam Price said reaching the final was a “once-in-a-lifetime experience”.
Players also had the chance to meet and play against former world champion Luke Humphries.
Organisers say the event continues to bring communities together through pub sport.
