A Gloucester man has been jailed for shoplifting offences and driving whilst disqualified.
The 32-year-old was disqualified for driving for 40 months for a drink drinking conviction earlier this month but continued to drive.
Police stopped the man in the Kingsway area earlier this week.
He received a further 64 weeks disqualified from driving and 24 weeks behind bars for shoplifting offences.
The judge also gave him a 4 year criminal behaviour order.
