Longlevens Day Nursery and Pre-school in Gloucester is one of 12 Partou settings selected to begin working towards Rights Respecting Schools Award accreditation.
The UNICEF programme recognises nurseries and schools that place children’s rights at the heart of their ethos and practice.
The settings will initially work towards the bronze award, with a longer-term aim for all Partou nurseries to achieve accreditation.
Partou says the scheme will help create nurturing and inclusive environments where children feel respected, valued and able to thrive.
The move forms part of Partou’s wider partnership with UNICEF, which supports early learning initiatives and children’s development.
