Gloucestershire County Council is backing the Big Conversation on Care, launched by the Independent Commission on Adult Social Care.

The national consultation is inviting people to share views on how care and support should work in the future.

It will help inform recommendations to government on how adult social care in England is funded and delivered.

The council is encouraging residents, unpaid carers, families, care staff, providers and community organisations to take part.

Councillor Kate Usmar says social care touches communities across Gloucestershire and local voices should be heard.

The council will also submit an official response to Baroness Casey’s Commission.
