A hairdresser from Gloucestershire is celebrating after reaching the national final of a major UK competition.
Chloe Woodward, from The Beauty Barn, secured her place at the L’Oréal Colour Trophy grand final after success at the Western regional semi-final in Bristol.
She will now compete at the The O2 in July, in a contest widely regarded as one of the most prestigious in the hairdressing industry.
The competition, now in its 70th year, showcases top colourists from across the UK.
Speaking after qualifying, Chloe said it was an emotional moment, especially after encouragement from her young daughter.
“Before I went in, my daughter gave me a little bracelet and said, ‘you’ve got this mummy’… When I found out I’d be going to the Grand Final, I was shaking,” she said.
Chloe is one of a small number of stylists from across the region to progress to the final stage, where she will compete against leading talent from around the country.
