The Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham will play host to an exciting new stage adaptation of Peter James’ bestselling crime thriller, Picture You Dead, from Tuesday 27th May – Saturday 31st May.

The show is currently embarking on a major UK tour, and Gloucestershire audiences have extra reason to get excited. Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba will be joining the cast as eccentric art collector Stuart Piper, alongside Emmerdale favourite Fiona Wade as Freya Kipling, and TV’s George Rainsford (Casualty, Call The Midwife) takes on the role as detective DSI Roy Grace. West End star Jodie Steele, who previously visited Cheltenham in the touring cast of SIX, takes on the chilling role of villain Roberta Kilgore.

Gloucestershire-born actor Ben Cuter will star as Harry Kipling in this fast-paced and gripping thriller, which has been adapted from the DSI Roy Grace book series.

The story is inspired by a real-life encounter that author Peter James had with former art forger David Henty. Picture You Dead explores the glamorous, and deadly, underworld of fine art when an unsuspecting couple (played by Cutler and Wade) stumble across a priceless lost painting at a car boot sale. What follows is a trail of deception, greed, and murder, and only DSI Roy Grace can stop them paying the ultimate price.

This is the seventh of Peter James’ bestsellers to be adapted for the stage by award-winning writer Shaun McKenna.

Don’t miss your chance to see this brand-new mystery unfold live on stage.

Picture You Dead comes to the Everyman Theatre from Tuesday 27th May – Saturday 31st May. Tickets can be purchased from https://www.everymantheatre.org.uk/shows/picture-you-dead/
