Forest Leisure promises lots of fun activities to keep children occupied during the February half term holidays.
To help parents the District Council has put together an action packed activities programme from Monday 16 to Friday 20 February, troche at their Lydney, site Cinderford and Coleford Forest Leisure centres. The centres will also be offering childcare at a competitive rate.
Younger children will love the soft play and bouncy castle sessions, troche with older children enjoying the multi-sports, arts and crafts, snorkelling, racket sports and Rookie lifeguard training.
Children who have a junior membership are entitled to free morning play-scheme sessions as well as 38 weeks of activity lessons over the school year and, as an added bonus, they receive unlimited free swimming during public sessions in the four Forest Leisure centre pools, enabling children to practice their swim skills in their own time.
Cllr Terry Hale, Cabinet Member for the Community said: “The council understands the school holidays are often a time when some parents find it difficult to keep children occupied, especially if they have to juggle work and childcare. With this in mind we have put together an affordable fun activities programme for February half term.
“Children will be able to come along, make new friends, try exciting activities and develop new skills, with parents and carers having the peace of mind that their child is being looked after in a safe environment.”
