In a historic first for Gloucestershire, cialis two minors have been dealt Injunctions to tackle their anti-social behaviour.
Their mother was also served an Injunction, doctor in the first joint action of its type to take place in the county. These injunctions set out numerous rules which the family must adhere to with serious consequences if broken.
During the hearing on the 6th of November, order Magistrates heard that the Police had attended the property in Gloucester numerous times to tackle gatherings of youths, where they were met with drug use, noise and intimidation, made worse by the alcohol misuse of their mother. In addition, serious concerns for the young people’s welfare had been raised by social services and education. Following months of complaints about behaviour at the property, Project Solace took the lead in gathering evidence and presenting the legal action to the City Council.
As well as tackling the anti-social behaviour, the Injunctions also order the family to attend meetings with social services, education and alcohol support services. It was recognised a large part of the problem is the refusal of the mother to work with services in the city therefore if in the future the family fail to engage with help they will face fines or even prison.

This is a positive result from the case which has required a lot of resource from many parties including the Council, Police, education and numerous others.
Due to changes in the law allowing injunctions for minors it now enables unacceptable behaviour to be positively tackled. By forcing this family to engage with support, it is hoped they will learn the impact of their behaviour and will change it in the long-term. We hope that the Injunctions will not only help the family but will provide the neighbourhood with respite.”
