Thames Water says thousands of homes are still without water after a pipe burst near the A419 at Cricklade.
The incident was first reported on Sunday which left many without water or low pressure.
In an update, a spokesperson for Thames Water said: “Good news, we have drained the flood water that allowed us to safely isolate the burst main to allow for repair which will be undertaken over the next few days.”
“Please be aware that the water pressure is likely to take time to build in the local pipe network. Everyone affected by the earlier burst pipe should now find their water is back on. If you’ve checked our further information and are still experiencing problems, please contact us.”
The problem was described as affecting the SN6, SN26, GL7 and GL8 postcodes.
