Gloucestershire County Council is recruiting residents to join its new supported lodgings service.
The Launch Pad scheme has now been officially registered by Ofsted and is open to applicants.
It provides accommodation for young people aged 16 to 18 who are in or leaving care and not yet ready to live independently.
Hosts offer a spare room and support with everyday life skills such as cooking, budgeting and accessing education or work.
The council says demand is rising and is encouraging people from all backgrounds to consider applying.
