A 26-year-old man from Soudley has been served with a civil injunction order for persistent anti-social behaviour in the area.
Jake Gibbs, of Church Road, received the injunction at the Gloucester and Cheltenham County Court.
The court heard that the Gibbs’ anti-social behaviour had been causing concern for residents in Littledean and Cinderford since last summer, and had ignored previous warnings from the police.
The orders against Gibbs forbids him from:
- Riding his moped and/or motorbike in such a way as to cause or be capable of causing alarm or harassment or distress to any person within the towns of Littledean or/and Cinderford, Gloucestershire;
- Making hoax telephone food orders to any business within the towns of Littledean or/and Cinderford, Gloucestershire.
The orders are in place until 4pm on 9 February 2022 and any breaches could result in him being sent to prison.
Sergeant Alex Kear, from the Forest of Dean Neighbourhood Policing team, said: “The implementation of this injunction shows the communities solidarity to stand up to anti-social behaviour such as that shown by Gibbs.
“We have a zero tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour and we are continually working to keep people safe from harm.
“As a local neighbourhood policing team we are here to support our local communities and challenge such behaviour.”
