Family life is tough for everyone, thumb so to help make life a little easier, families are being invited to come along to fortnightly coffee mornings at various locations across Cheltenham.

The aim is to get families together to have fun and relax, whilst giving them the opportunity to meet new people, and share experiences and advice with one another.

The first coffee morning takes place from 11am to 1pm on Tuesday 9 September at Blue Sky Parenting Café on Knapp Road.

Ami Lavery, Inspiring Families project officer, says: “We hope that our families will come along to relax and have some fun at these coffee mornings as life can be hard.

“Families will also be able to feedback to us about any information, training or activities they might like to access through our Inspiring Families/our place project.”

Cllr Rowena Hay, cabinet member for healthy lifestyles, says: “This is a great opportunity for families to take some time out together and make new friends and meet new people.”

There will be a free hot drink and cake for each person. Children are welcome and there will be some activities for children.
