BBC Radio Gloucestershire has seen another large slump in listeners according to the latest audience figures.
The radio station has seen a drop in the number of listeners over the last two years.
Latest figures from RAJAR show just 49,000 people tuned into the station weekly in the fourth quarter of 2023 – that’s a fall from 61,000.
Presenters including Mark Cummings, Anna King and Faye Hatcher departed the station last year as BBC execs slashed local programming.
Only weekday breakfast and mid-morning programmes broadcast locally to Gloucestershire. The rest of the output is mainly either regional or national shared programmes.
