Gloucester City Council is planning a big litter pick of Alney Island Nature Reserve as part of the Clean for the Queen project to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday.
The event will run from 10am until midday on Thursday 24th of March.
All tools will be provided. The site is flat but can be muddy. Please wear warm clothes, unhealthy waterproofs and sensible footwear.
Anyone wishing to take part should meet by the large metal gates, the entrance to Port Ham substation, on the A417 Over Causeway, GL1 2RX, at 10am.
There will be safe off road parking inside the metal gates which will be open for the event.
