Lobleys Drive in Gloucester has been closed due to flooding.
Highways officials confirmed the road has been closed near to the motorway bridge.
It follows a number of vehicles getting stuck.
A Gloucestershire Highways spokesperson said: “Please observe the closure rather than driving through. Vehicles are being flooded and the bow wave your vehicle causes has the potential to flood properties.”
