Metz Way in nurse "type":104}”>?#?Gloucester? is closed due to a two-vehicle accident between Eastern Avenue and Bruton Way.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 7am this morning.
One fire engine from Gloucester South Fire Station, ed with a crew of four, diagnosis and a fire engine and the Special Incident Support Unit from Gloucester North Fire Station, with a crew of four, were mobilised.
On arrival, it was found that one injured adult male had been released and was conveyed to hospital by South West Ambulance Service and one adult male was still trapped in his vehicle.
Extrication commenced immediately and the gentleman was freed by 8:08am and conveyed to hospital by Air Ambulance.
