
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Cheltenham on Sunday (20 July).
A man aged in his 30s was attacked by two women on The Promenade at around 6.25am.
The man sustained a head injury which required treatment at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
One of the women was described as being white, of a large build, had long black hair and wore glasses. The other woman was described as being black, of a large build and had curly black hair.
Officers attended the incident within eight minutes of being called but were not able to locate the offenders or anyone who witnessed what happened.
CCTV enquiries have also been carried out in the area.
