A 50-year-old man from Longhope has been charged with several offences in relation to alleged domestic abuse incidents.
Dean Powell appeared at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (30 April) and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Gloucester Crown Court on 6 June.
The alleged charges, which relate to one victim, are:
- Engage in controlling and coercive behaviour
- Five counts of assaulting a person occasioning actual bodily harm
- Two counts of Section 18 wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm
- Harassment – fear of violence
- Breach of a non-molestation order
