There are plans to demolish a disused hall in Gloucester and build 12 flats on the site.
The Good Templars Hall in Park Road has been vacant since 1977 and the site could soon be redeveloped.
Proposals for a new block of flats on the site have been submitted to Gloucester City Council and include storage for bins and bikes, external hard and soft landscaping.
The scheme includes seven one-bedroom flats and five two beds.
Architects say the size of the flats have been designed in line with the National Housing Space Standards.
The building has been designed to be divided into four equal blocks which step back to follow the angled pavement line, creating a serrated building frontage and accentuating the vertical proportions of the facade bays.
The building base is designed with a reconstituted stone finish with a rusticated texture.
And the upper floors would be clad in a light coloured mineral render to complement the nearby homes.
Windows are simply detailed and provide floor-to-ceiling openings with translucent glass balustrades.
Residents have until November 5 to comment on the proposals which city planners are expected to consider by January 13.
