There are plans for a microbrewery on an industrial estate near Tewkesbury.

Daryll Tanner wants permission from Tewkesbury Borough Council to change the use of unit 29 at Highfield Business Park in Tewkesbury Road, Deerhurst.

The proposal is to change the use of the unit from industrial to allow for the running of a microbrewery.

Consultants working on the scheme say no external or internal changes will be made to the building.

And there will not be any extraction as it will only a very small microbrewery being proposed.

They say the equipment filters internally as part of an enclosed system so there is no need for extraction.

Environmental officers at the council have no objections in terms of any nuisance issues.

People have until November 8 to comment on the proposals which planners are expected to consider a month later.
