Police are appealing for information after two teenage girls were assaulted by a man and a woman in Gloucester city centre last week.
The two girls, aged 17 and 18, were on Eastgate Street at around 8pm on Friday 25 August when they were approached by a man and a woman from the direction of The Doctors pub.
They became verbally aggressive towards the two girls, who tried to walk away down Clarence Street.
The man and the woman, aged in their mid-20s and 30s respectively, followed them before assaulting them in an unprovoked attack outside the former Primark store. Their injuries were not believed to be serious.
Officers are now trying to trace the man and the woman, who were not known to the girls, and are appealing for help from the public.
