Sebert Street play area in Gloucester has reopened after being upgraded with new equipment for children of all ages.
The play area, also known as The Rec, has been revamped with new features from KOMPAN.
The improvements include a storytelling area, giant wooden rope swing, climbing blocks and adventurous multi-play structures.
Councillors Jeremy Hilton and Angela Conder joined local families to mark the opening of the upgraded community space.
The work has been funded through a Section 106 agreement with Redrow Homes.
The funding was secured specifically for improvements to the Sebert Street play area.
