Rows of solar panels will be installed outside a three-storey listed house in Bevere.

The freestanding solar panels will provide renewable energy to Beechwood House in Bevere Green.

Two rows of ground-mounted panels will be installed, with 13 and 14 panels to a row, within the grounds of the Grade II listed building.

According to the plans, the panels “will be located in a small, terraced area of the garden to the south of the main dwelling”.

“This area is well contained and cannot be seen from the public realm due to the mature vegetation of the rear boundary and the large distance between the application site and the nearest public footpath.”
