Speaking before the challenge, Group Director, James Strickland said: “Although we’re no strangers to charity challenges like this, the Three Peak challenge in June is going to be particularly difficult as we will be covering effectively 26 miles by foot. I’m delighted that so many members of staff put their names forward for this task and I look forward to working together to complete climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
“The money we raise will be going to a great cause and will really make a difference in the lives of young people with disabilities and their families across Gloucestershire.”
The twelve walkers were supported by Rachel Harber, Nigel Owen, Del Williams and Emma Getvoldsen, helping with food, transport and moral support.
This latest feat follows close on the heels of the company’s first challenge of the year, the completion of the London Marathon 2015 which helped raise over £11,000.
