Police are appealing for information after a 15-year-old boy was robbed of his electric bike in Gloucester.
The teenager was with two friends in the car park of Lidl on Eastern Avenue at around 6.30pm on Sunday (28 September) when he was approached by two males.
One of the suspects indicated he had a knife tucked into his waistband and threatened the boy, who then dropped his grey and black Carrera Vengeance e-bike. The offenders fled the scene with the bike, riding off in the direction of Metz Way.
The first suspect is described as white, aged in his late teens to early twenties, around 5ft 10ins tall, with dark hair. He was wearing a grey Under Armour tracksuit. The second suspect is described as black, also in his late teens to early twenties, with braided hair, and wearing a blue and black tracksuit.
Officers attended the scene and carried out searches but the suspects were not found. CCTV enquiries are ongoing.
Earlier that evening, at around 6pm, the group of boys reported being followed by three males in a silver hatchback car, described as being in poor condition with a yellow-trimmed spare tyre on one of the front wheels. The same vehicle was later seen heading towards Metz Way after the robbery.
Police are urging anyone with information about the suspects, the car, or the whereabouts of the stolen e-bike to come forward.
