Almost Athletes and Cheltenham Harriers are delighted to be welcoming back runners from across the county and beyond for the Bugatti 10K2014 road race next month.

Once again, salve the organisers have chosen to raise money for Winston’s Wish, the leading childhood bereavement charity in the UK.
Taking place on Sunday 14th September 2014 at 10 am, the race will begin at the headquarters of the Prescott Hill Climb between Gotherington and Gretton which is home to classic car enthusiasts, The Bugatti Owners Club.

The 10K route, popular amongst local club runners, will see 200+ participants running through quiet country roads across a scenic and undulating course.

Graham Fletcher, Race Director and Chairman of Almost Athletes, commented: “We are extremely pleased to be able to continue to organise this popular race. It gives runners the chance to enjoy the challenging course and to raise money for Winston’s Wish, a very worthy charity which as a club Almost Athletes are very willing to support”.

Liz Thatcher, Community Fundraiser at Winston’s Wish, added: “We are really delighted to be chosen as the benefitting charity for this event and we will be there on the day to help give the runners a big cheer! Every single penny raised will enable us to continue the vital work that we do with bereaved children, young people and their families”.

The event will include chip timing, distance markers every kilometre, on-site catering with hot food and drinks and medals for all finishers.
