With just over 2 weeks left until the consultation closes, rx residents living in the Forest of Dean are encouraged to give their views on their future waste and recycling services by completing an online survey.

To date 1,628 completed surveys have been received back from households, but with 37,000 homes across the district the Council is encouraging more residents to have their say.
Councillor Marrilyn Smart, Cabinet Member for the Environment at the Forest of Dean District Council, said: ‘We’ve had a good response to our survey so far and thank those residents that have taken the time to take part in the consultation.’

‘The views of our residents are extremely important and will help to shape the future waste and recycling services and we encourage those who haven’t had chance to complete the survey to do it online by visitingwww.fdean.gov.uk/go/wastesurvey before the closing date of Tuesday 1September 2015.’

2000 paper copies of the survey have already been posted to randomly selected households across the district.  Anyone who would like a paper copy can request one by emailing council@fdean.gov.uk or by calling the customer services team on 01594 810000 or by visiting the Coleford council offices reception during office hours.

Surveys can also be picked up from local libraries and leisure centres or can be downloaded from the council’s websitewww.fdean.gov.uk
