A Cotswold woman has been spared jail after pleading guilty to threatening behaviour and carrying a kitchen knife in public.
Charlotte Mace, 33, of Foxglove Close, Moreton-in-Marsh, was handed a 12 month jail sentence at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday May 1, suspended for 18 months.
Mace pleaded guilty on April 1 to the offence of using threatening, abusive and insulting words and behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence in Moreton on September 1.
She also pleaded guilty to the possession of a knife in a public space at Foxglove Close.
An order was issued to deprive her of the kitchen knife. And Mace is also required to undertake rehabilitation activity of up to 15 days.
