Two people have been arrested in connection with a burglary in Gloucester overnight.
Police were called at around 2.30am today, Friday 30 August, with a report from a security guard that two people had broken into a shop on King’s Walk.
They were confronted by security and then ran away while one of them was carrying a large bag full of stolen items.
Officers attended and following a search a man and a woman were arrested. A bag of items was found hidden nearby under a wheelie bin and these have been seized.
A 45-year-old man of no fixed address and a 32-year-old woman from Gloucester remain in custody on suspicion of burglary.
