Police are appealing for witnesses after a van collided with an E-Scooter rider in Cheltenham and failed to stop earlier this week.

Officers received a report that a pedestrian was riding their E-Scooter along Berkeley Street at around 8.35am on Tuesday when a vehicle collided with them and drove away.

This took place hearing towards the A435 cross roads and the vehicle, which was described as being a lime green Volkswagen Transporter with tinted windows, left the scene in the direction of Charlton Kings.

The pedestrian sustained minor injuries following the collision.

Investigating officers are asking anyone who was in the area at the time and has information or knows who the driver of the van is to come forward.
