Police in Gloucester have received reports of bogus traders dropping cards and being aggressive around Hucclecote.
These traders have been asking about driveway repairs & driveway power washing, with costings being quoted at £650.
Officers have issued the following advice:
- Remember it is your right to say no to traders at the door step.
- Do not rush to make decisions.
- If you think you have been a victim of a scam please report it to Action Fraud.
Please don’t hesitate to call the police if you witness suspicious activity and always dial 999 if you believe a crime is taking place.
