Cotswold Airport is launching its exciting 2017 season of events, kicking off with The Wurzels live on stage on May Day Bank Holiday, supported by local favourite cover band, ‘undisCOVERED’.

Set in the unique surroundings of Cotswold Airport with the outdoor stage set at the foot of the Control Tower amongst hangars and planes, this epic feel-good event will be one not to forget. Sing and dance the night away to endless favourite tunes from two incredible bands, no doubt culminating in something to do with combine harvesters and cider!

Gates will open at 5pm. A real ale and cider tent, hog roast and other delicious treats will all be available throughout. The airport’s on-site restaurant AV8 will also be opening its bar for the evening. Parking for cars, motorbikes, tractors and combine harvesters is free and plentiful – you can even fly in if you wish!

This is an outdoor event. No food or drink is allowed to be brought onto the site. Dogs are allowed (on leads only and please clean up after them!). Gates will close at 10.30pm. No camping.

Wildlife Photography for Beginners

Starting with an illustrated introductory session looking at composition, technique & equipment, you will then head outside for practical session of nature photography.

Due to small course numbers there will be plenty of time for 1-2-1 tuition.

Through the day Iain will guide you through key camera techniques & photographic skills such as using shutter speeds to capture action & movement, understanding apertures & how to control the depth of field in close-up or landscapes, achieving correct exposure in different lighting or settings, effective composition, to add impact to your images.

This course is suitable for users of all types of cameras & the content will be tailored accordingly & to the needs of course attendees.
