Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which took place in Gloucester last month.
It was reported that a robbery took place outside One Eyed Jacks on Barton Street between 5.30pm and 6pm on Saturday 7 December.
Officers attended and a man was arrested at the scene. A second man is believed to have left the area before officers arrived.
A 28-year-old man from Gloucester was later charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and theft. He was released on bail with conditions to appear at court on a later date.
Investigating officers would still like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw two men on bicycles acting suspiciously.
