Officers in Dursley want a man who took money that had been dispensed from a cashpoint for someone else to come forward.
The incident happened at the ATM outside One Stop on Phillimore Road in Dursley at about 9pm on Tuesday 22 March.
A woman requested £35 from the machine but forgot to take it when her card was returned. She went into the shop before realising and when she returned the cash had gone. The victim, viagra who was wearing leopard print pyjama bottoms, confronted a man she believed had taken the money but he refused to hand it over and left.
The man is described as in his 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, with short black hair and wearing jeans.
CCTV from the store is currently being reviewed but police want that person, or anyone who saw the person, to come forward now on 101 and quote incident 456 of 23 March.
