Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision on the M5 this morning.
A silver Nissan Qashqai, sales driven by a 34-year-old Birmingham man, drugs overturned at junction 9 northbound at about 5.45am this morning.
A full closure was put on between junction 11 and junction 9 northbound while the fire service cut the man out of the vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol at about 7.30am with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
The vehicle is due to be recovered shortly and one lane is now open around the collision.
Police are investigating the collision and urging anyone who witnessed the crash but has not yet come forward to call 101 and quote incident 52 of 3 March.
