Cattle Country Adventure Park is throwing its support behind the UK’s leading charity project, buy cialis Operation Christmas Child, for the second year running.
The annual campaign run by Samaritan’s Purse involves people donating gifts inside shoeboxes for children less fortunate.
Shoe boxes can be filled with toys, educational items, and other gifts for children living abroad in orphanages, street shelters and hospitals.
Cattle Country has some official pre-wrapped shoe boxes available for visitors to take home with them, which can then be returned between November 1 and 18.
Cattle Country’s General Manager, Stuart Burnell, said: “Last year we were delighted to offer our support to Operation Christmas child for the first time and we were surprised by the positive response.
“Operation Christmas Child is such a worthy cause and we feel proud to support this fantastic initiative for the second year running.
“We hope families across the region will get behind us and donate as many shoe box parcels as possible.”
Families can also supply their own boxes but these should be wrapped in Christmas paper and labelled for boys or girls aged two to four years, five to nine years, and 10 to 14 years, with a £3 donation.
Gifts ideas might include dolls, toy trucks, stuffed animals, balls, small puzzles, school supplies, scarves or soaps. Donors are also welcome to include a note or greeting card to the child.
The boxes will be collected by volunteers and shipped to one of the destination countries in time for Christmas, to bring a little festive joy to vulnerable children.
