Discount supermarket Aldi has announced plans for a new food store and Costa Coffee drive-thru on land off the Fosse Way in Bourton-on-the-Water.
The scheme, which could create up to 60 jobs, would form part of the Bourton Industrial Park extension.
Aldi says it would expand local shopping choice, reducing the need for residents to travel to other towns.
The site already has outline planning approval for employment use, and a new signalised junction at Meadow Way is also proposed.
A public consultation will run from Tuesday 23 September until 7 October, with feedback helping to shape Aldi’s planning application to Cotswold District Council.
If approved, the development would see Aldi join its nearby stores in Moreton-in-Marsh, Cirencester and Chipping Norton, while also bringing a Costa Coffee to the area for the first time.
