Police are appealing for help in tracking down a boy who appeared in distress at a Churchdown pharmacy earlier this month.
It was reported to officers that a naked child, believed to be aged about 10, had entered Badham Pharmacy on Morley Avenue on Tuesday 11 June.
He was urinating around the shop and would not allow anyone near to him.
A man outside the pharmacy appeared to be looking for the child. He confirmed he knew the young boy before leading him away.
Officers want to check on the welfare of the child, who appeared to be in distress when he entered the pharmacy in the late afternoon.
It was reported that there were several people inside the pharmacy at the time and police are keen to hear from them, or from anyone who believes they know who the child is.
The child, who has been described as white, also entered a house in the same area of Churchdown five days later, on Sunday 16 June.
On this occasion, he went inside the property where he then proceeded to undress. The occupiers of the house did not know him and he left before anyone could check on his welfare.
Enquiries have been ongoing, including checks with partner agencies, and police are now appealing for anybody with information to come forward.
