Police are appealing for a man who may have been the victim of an assault in Gloucester at the weekend to come forward.
Officers were called to a report of a fight outside The Regal on St Aldate Street at around 1.20am on Saturday (5 July).
During the altercation, a man punched another man in the face, causing him to fall to the floor.
The victim then got up and walked away in the direction of London Road.
Officers are now trying to trace the victim and are appealing for him to come forward.
He was described as being a white man with a beard who was wearing a white t-shirt, pale blue jeans and white trainers.

A 43-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm in connection with the incident. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
