Police are appealing for information following an attempted theft from a van in Bishops Cleeve.
The incident happened at around 1:30am this morning.
Two men were disturbed while removing power tools from a van parked in Millham Road.
The men ran off when they realised they had been spotted and the witness called the police.
The police attended the area but could not trace the suspects, they did however recover the vehicle used by them.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gloucestershire Police on 101 quoting incident number 18 of 10th February.
