Richmond Villages Cheltenham welcomed award-winning photographer Lee Hawley for a hands-on photography workshop designed to inspire residents and encourage creativity.
The session covered photography techniques including composition, lighting and capturing everyday moments, with residents using both smartphones and DSLR cameras.
Organisers say the workshop formed part of the village’s wider programme of activities aimed at helping residents learn new skills and stay engaged.
Glenda Parsons described the afternoon as inspiring and said residents enjoyed developing confidence behind the camera.
Village manager Cara Wood added that providing new experiences and opportunities for residents is a key part of life at the retirement village.
